Mommy Minute: Linique Lopez

Hey Mommies,

Today, I have the pleasure of introducing you to a beautiful, accomplished modern mama. I met her back in college and we have followed each other virtually for years. She has blossomed into a successful career woman, wife and now mother. She juggles life in the corporate space and recently welcomed a baby girl! Her family is so beautiful, and she is the essence of a modern mama.

Meet Linique Lopez

Tell us a little about yourself... Hi! I’m Linique (like Clinique without the C😉). Originally from Ocala, but I’ve resided in Tampa, Florida since 2005 where I became a Bull 🐂 (USF 08). I married my retail sweetheart 🎯 Luis, and we are now a four pack. I’ve worked in a variety of industries, obtained a Master’s of Science degree in Organizational Leadership, and traveled to some pretty cool places (fav so far Santorini, Greece). My newest career adventure is with Johnson and Johnson as a Senior Analyst- Benefits Administration NA. To date, my greatest accomplishments are my daughters. They are sponges and I pray that I am setting the best example for them. When I’m not knee deep in family activities, I enjoy traveling, exercising, drinking sweet tea, and eating out !! I really value friendships and basically have the same circle of friends from as early as summer before high school and college roomies. I’m sure some things have changed, but I consider myself to be laid back and don’t mind being the class clown. I like being goofy with my girls! If they want to have a dance off in a public place, consider it done! My goals are to continue to grow personally and professionally, give way more than I receive, and remain strong in my faith in God. I am super grateful for everything I have. How many children do you have? 2; Isabella and Camila Talk about one lesson you have learned since your motherhood journey began. Give yourself grace. Everyone says “there is no instruction manual,” and it’s the absolute truth! One piece of advice for other moms? The greatest gift you can gift your child is time. We tend to be so hard on ourselves and all they want is our time. Take the walk, play dolls, blow bubbles, and just be present. It really is the little things.
